Who should attend?  Anyone with a GSA/VA Schedule that would like to learn how to use your schedule as a marketing tool and how to market your GSA/VA Schedule.  You worked hard to get the number, learn how to use it at the “Right Way to Sell to the Government”. 

(If you receive this and are an existing client this class is free to you, travel expenses would apply.  If you have attended this class in the past consider a refresher course, a lot of changes are in process or have been implemented).

Having your GSA/VA Schedule in place is only the start.  You have the hook now reel them in!  This is very hands on class.  You will learn about your GSA/VA Schedule, how or how not does the Government buy off it and why.  What you may be missing.  How to “Educate” the Government to buy from you. 


These days none of us would leave home without our GPS whether it be on our smart phone or other device. Yet hundreds of companies decide to enter the government market without a plan (map) or direction on doing business with the government. They drive down wrong roads, one-way streets, they drive without headlights and drive in circles …..always lost.

Our intensive 2-day educational seminar will give you a clear and concise roadmap and plan for successfully selling to the government.  


The seminar provides hands on and breakaway sessions to discuss your questions/problems/concerns with your GSA/VA contract, questions about Modifications to your contract,  SIPS upload,  learning how to approach the key decision makers, who are the decision makers.....how do you get to them, government sales cycle, what if there is no written requirement for your product, how to sell using unsolicited proposals, going beyond GSA/VA schedules, ending the confusion of which contract vehicle, your company needs etc. We won't just give you information we will show you how to use that information to gain business. 

You will leave with a workable strategic plan, a marketing plan, a well written capabilities statement and a focused approach. Just like a GPS we will map out the best route for successfully closing business. It will be up to you to implement the plan and to persevere but we will give you the tools that you need. You will never be lost or wasting time and money again. 


You will be provided the extensive Power Point presentation used during the training session plus many other marketing tools and contacts.

Jeannie Merkle worked at GSA Region 10 for 15 years as a contractor in Marketing and Management.  She has been a consultant to GSA/VA Schedule holders for 15 years.  Jeannie does online classes weekly for GSA/VA Contract holders as well as helping clients with Marketing Positioning.

Jenn Pelton has been working with GSA/VA Contract Holders for 15 years with modifications, new offers and SIPS upload.
