Nuclear Regulatory Commission Cybersecurity Seminar & Expo
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission is hosting a Cyber Security Seminar – HACK 2018: Security from the Doorstep to the Desktop, on Wednesday, October 31, 2018. This event will take place in Rockville, Maryland at NRC Headquarters. HACK, which stands for Helpful Applied Cyber Knowledge, is an internal campaign that encourages technology users to be aware of the impact of all activities on their connected devices, at home as well is in the workplace, and the potential threats they may unknowingly face as a result of their activity.
This 1-Day Seminar will consist of Cyber Sessions in the NRC Auditorium given by government and industry speakers as well as industry exhibits and refreshments in the atrium connected to the Auditorium. Exhibiting companies will have the opportunity to attend the conference as well as demo their latest technologies to NRC’s IT and Cyber personnel, contractors, and NRC executives from 10:00 AM-1:30 PM.
Attendees from the May 2018 event included the CIO, Deputy CIO, CISO, Deputy CISO, as well as System Administrators, IT Specialists, Security Specialists, Cyber SME's (Subject Matter Experts) and Branch Chiefs.
