Prepping for the Digital Frontier, “Smart Trends in IoT”  hosted by ACT-IAC will provide attendees with a wide-range of discussions around the frameworks; implementation and methodologies; business and technology; connection between federal, state and local IoT; and cybersecurity, compliance and privacy enablers in the emerging IoT landscape to help prep agencies for the Digital Frontier. Keynote speakers will highlight topics which will be supported by government and industry case studies using live demonstrations and real life examples that explore trends in innovations in IoT.

Forum Objectives:

  • Understand the current and future trends, challenges and barriers surrounding IoT business, technology and policy by exploring real-world implementations.
  • Understand of various IoT frameworks including; current success and failures, the art of the possible, moving IoT pilots to the next level, challenges in replicating and scaling IoT projects
  • Garner a better understanding of the intersection of technology, data, analytics and security and ways to integrate and use the data produced from IoT projects.
  • Provide a showcase of IoT application in the federal, local and private sectors.
  • Understand the impact of cybersecurity regulations and policies on current and future solutions and keys to coordination and integration between federal, state and local.
