Guest Speaker: The Honorable James F. Geurts,Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Development, and Acquisition

With almost a year since his swearing in, Secretary Geurts is looking to shake up processes and protocols to increase Navy efficiencies and effectivity.  With multiple, simultaneous initiatives, he is encouraging digitization to streamline mega-projects and generate cost-savings; devolving programmatic decision-making authority; scaling bureaucratic oversight; and enabling intelligent risk-taking at all levels.
