Why You Should Attend This Symposium

  • This educational symposium will enable the most respected minds in military medicine gathering individuals from medical commands across the services. This collaborative town-hall forum will join together public and private agencies for a much-needed open and honest conversation highlighting the required technology and equipment to prolong the lives of our Nation’s Warfighters.
  • Due to the significant advances in military medicine and preventative equipment, our Nation’s Warfighters have had the highest survival rate in modern history, however, there is still significant work to be done. Public agencies must actively engage with commercial partners to deliver the most up to date and technologically advanced equipment to ensure our Warfighters are ready pre-deployment, on the field, and post-deployment.
  • The 2019 Operational Medicine Symposium will focus on the need for all service members to invest in readiness tools and techniques and medical modernization resources which will create capabilities to enhance and support warfighter’s needs on the battlefield.
