The University of Mary Washington Center for Economic Development will host " Down & Dirty - GSA schedules - A Tactical Guide" This hands-on workshop will provide assistance to companies who already meet the basic requirements of the GSA Schedule. The Administrative, Technical and Pricing Sections will be discussed and direction will be provided on how to complete these Sections and the additional complex GSA forms. A best practices time-line for project managing your proposal will be provided.

Speaker and Presenter Information

Jennifer Schaus began her business career in 1996 with The Dun & Bradstreet Corporation eventually moving to the firms Government Sales Division in Rosslyn, Virginia. She stayed in a federal sales and business development role with other data firms, technology companies, physical security manufacturers and more.

With a passion for entrepreneurship, Jennifer started her business to capitalize on her knowledge of the complex market and helping businesses succeed in government contracting.

Ms. Schaus volunteers as a Business Mentor with five organizations in the Washington DC Metro area including 1776, Women In Technology (WIT), The Washington DC Economic Partnership (WDCEP), Capitol Post and her alma mater, The Towson University Incubator. 

 

She volunteers as a Government Contracts Instructor with The Virginia Procurement Technical Assistance Program (VA PTAP) at George Mason University, The Veterans Outreach Business Center (VBOC) / Community Business Partnership in Virginia, The Maryland Procurement Technical Assistance Center (MD PTAC) and with Capitol Post / Bunker Labs. 

A member of the Board Of Directors of GovLish, LLC (a data aggregator of government acronyms)  and NCMA (National Contracts Management Association), Bethesda Chapter, Jennifer provides assistance to both for profit and membership based organizations.

Jennifer holds a BA from Towson University, has successfully completed the Leadership Accelerator from University California, Berkeley and holds a Certificate in Executive Leadership from Cornell University.
