Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Defense Roundtable Breakfast

In today’s defense world, the only certainty is uncertainty.  Adversaries are weaponizing open source technologies to cause never before seen devastation; politics worldwide are changing, causing shifts in global alliances; the U.S. defense budget continues to fluctuate; and more young Americans are choosing to pursue non-STEM career paths.  While all of these uncertainties bring challenges, they also present unique and interesting opportunities.

In this talk, Dr. Eric L. Moore, Director of the U.S. Army Research Development Engineering Command Edgewood Chemical Biological Center (RDECOM ECBC), will discuss how the chemical and biological defense, science, technology and engineering mission can thrive during times of uncertainty.  Dr. Moore will discuss current event, and ECBC case studies that will spark discussions around ethics, the future, and what we can do to stay successful.
