Young AFCEA Tech Talk - Cyber and the Hill

When it comes to IT, innovation often leads to legislation. That possibility is real today, as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, the Internet of Things and related technologies are revolutionizing the ways in which we communicate, connect, and conduct business, but also raising important questions, especially when it comes to privacy and security. The challenge is to create legislation that addresses those concerns without hindering innovation.

Join us on January 31st for our first Tech Talk event of the year, as we bring together perspectives from government, industry, and the Hill to discuss the priorities and pitfalls surrounding current legislation.

The Tech Talk event offers an intimate and engaging environment for the brightest minds in industry and government to come together and discuss some of the transformational technologies and business challenges we are currently facing. This event provides a forum where you can not only learn about new technology, but you have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with senior leaders.

The Young AFCEA Washington, DC Chapter holds professional development events, co-hosts the annual West Point Leadership and Ethics Symposium for local high school students, and holds a number of networking events throughout the year.
