2019 HBCU Industry Day

The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of Acquisition and Logistics Management (OALM), Small Business Program Office is requesting your institution's participation at the first NIH Historically Black College and University (HBCU) Industry Day. The theme is Engaging HBCUs in Federal Contracting and the target audience includes Office of Grants/Sponsored Programs employees, administrators, and faculty researchers. All are welcome!

All visitors and government employees that are not NIH badge holders are to report to the NIH Visitor Gateway Center (check for correct name) before proceeding to the Natcher building.

The event is free! As a participant, your institution's representatives will have the opportunity to interact with NIH acquisition and grant representatives, NIH prime contractors and other Federal agency representatives.

The subject event will facilitate strong relationships between HBCUs and NIH through exposure to the intricacies of the federal contracting process and the provision of direct access to NIH program and acquisitions officials. Participating HBCUs will also have access to representatives from other Federal agencies with information on their respective programs and resources pertaining to federal contracts and grants.

If any questions arise, please contact NIHSmallBusiness@nih.gov.
