Face to Face: CDM DEFEND's New Approaches for Protecting Networks
This event qualifies for 3 CPEs
Since 2013, the Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation program has provided federal agencies with IT tools for countering cyberattacks on federal government networks. It is no surprise, however, that over the years attacks on government sites have intensified and become more sophisticated.
In its new phase CDM DEFEND rolls out tools and services to create a tailored security strategy, as agencies face demands for more visibility and new enterprise dashboards that show how data is protected.
During this event, cybersecurity experts will discuss such topics as:
- Opportunities in the new phase of the CDM program
- Evolution of cyber threats and the tools for repelling them
- New enterprise agency dashboards and how agencies will be scored
- How GAO is evaluating agency progress in implementing CDM
- New focus on cyber hygiene and reducing the vulnerable attack surface
