Agile In Government Training Workshop XI

This event qualifies for 8 CPEs

Government agencies face challenging conditions which can best be successfully steered through by strong leadership and methods that allow for rapid reaction to information and changing requirements.  Increasingly, agencies are choosing Agile methods to allow them to react more rapidly and effectively. Many Agencies are progressing from utilization of basic Scrum on one or two programs to rolling out large programs combining Agile scaling techniques, Scrum, Cloud and DevSecOps initiatives.  Agencies are also changing their approach to procurement and changing governance of those programs to better utilize Agile delivery.

As Agile methods evolve from small IT teams to an agency standard, an Agile approach needs to take hold across silos and among programs and departments. Agency agility thus extends Agile beyond IT to other agency functions such as policy, procurement, human capital, operations and most importantly, to the executive suite.
