Nellis AFB - AFCEA Cyber & IT Focus Day



The AFCEA - Las Vegas Chapter invites you to join a special event at Nellis Air Force Base on October 24, 2019. Nellis AFB - AFCEA Las Vegas Cyber & IT Focus Day is an excellent opportunity for information technology and cybersecurity companies to network face to face with Nellis AFB personnel, while building trust and brand recognition. The event allows base personnel to receive CEU credits for attending educational sessions, plus attendees will also visit with the participating capability providers throughout the day.

Several speaking opportunities are available for companies that exhibit.

  • Security of Mobile Applications and Devices

Sessions are 1-hour long and must be CEU-worthy. 

About the AFCEA Las Vegas Chapter:

AFCEA is a non-profit membership association serving the military, government, industry and academia as an ethical forum for advancing professional knowledge and relationships in the fields of communications, IT, intelligence and global security.

The AFCEA - Las Vegas Chapter serves the intelligence and IT communities in the greater Las Vegas area including Nellis AFB, Creech AFB, the Nevada Test and Training Range, local contractors, and businesses. Chapter leaders are located at Nellis in the 99th Communications Squadron and 57th Information Aggressor Squadron.

About Nellis AFB:

The "Home of the Fighter Pilot," Nellis Air Force Base is home to the U.S. Air Force Warfare Center, the largest and most demanding advanced air combat training mission in the world. At Nellis, they provide training for composite strike forces which include every type of aircraft in the Air Force inventory. Training is conducted in conjunction with air and ground units of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Air Forces from  allied nations.

Speaker and Presenter Information

The opportunity to submit an abstract for consideration is available until the agenda is full. Abstracts will be reviewed and selected on a first come first serve basis.
