ACT-IAC Small Business Alliance: Straight Talk featuring Category Management Discussion

As the federal government works to buy smarter, the use of government-wide Category management is an approach being used to support the federal agencies and their need for savings, value, efficiency and responsiveness. in the purchasing process.  Industry especially the small business community have opportunities to support government in better ways through category management and will need to learn how changes through category management can allow themselves to more favorable position their companies as vendors. 

 

On November 20, hear from invited speaker Mathew Blum, Associate Administrator at the Office of Federal Procurement Policy (OFPP), Office of Management and Budget (OMB).as he joins the Small Business Alliance for Straight Talk featuring Category Management discussion.  

 

This collaborative discussion will allows industry to learn about this all encompassing acquisition strategy, the ways they can position themselves through category management and how they can better service the federal government as partners in the buying process.
