What's New with VMware Cloud Services?

We'll discuss some of the recent announcements for VMware Cloud Services. This includes VMware Cloud on AWS 1.8, VMware Cloud on Dell EMC, VMware vRealize Log Insight Cloud, and more.

Speaker and Presenter Information

Harrison Sherwin has made a career in technical training: first in home automation and for then at VMware. He started at VMware instructing new hires in VMware Global Support Services and other teams. He now creates technical training content for VMware Cloud on AWS and its associated services. He lives in Colorado with his wife, brother, and two precocious cats. He is a VMware Cloud on AWS SME, CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer+, VCI, and VCIX6.5-DCV.

Kelly O'Connell has been working for VMware since May 2019 as a Senior Technical Support Training Specialist focusing on VMware Cloud on AWS. She a degree in Computer Science and a Masters in Multimedia & Web Programming, both from University College Cork and is currently working on getting as many VMware and AWS Certifications as she can! Kelly previously worked in Citco Technology Management and Qualcomm, where she worked as a Staff Storage Engineer, as the technical lead on Storage projects, M&A transitioning, and staff training. In her spare time she loves traveling and also enjoys swimming, running (slowly), and doing the odd sprint triathlon.
