Cloud adoption has benefited Federal agencies in many ways, but confidence in security has remained elusive. The wave of data breach headlines over the last year have only escalated concerns.

Research has revealed that most Federal organizations are running multiple instances of public cloud along with on-premise resources. Security policies that ensure data protection in the cloud often differ from ones governing on-premise environments, creating myriad opportunities for human error. Trying to maintain disparate security policies across a hybrid multi-cloud environment is costly, labor-intensive, and depends on securing each environment individually.
