December Speaker Series: The Technology Backbone of Government's 2020 Workforce

Digital transformation is moving from the data center and the cloud to the individual government employee at work. Robotic process automation, machine learning and artificial intelligence are experiencing emerging use across the government. Can “smart” technologies make government smarter by shifting employees from low value to high value work and by automating routine tasks?

This briefing will bring together government knowledge-leaders to explore how technology is shaping the workforce of 2020 and beyond.

Learning Objectives:

  • Define the Trusted Workforce 2.0 framework and technology initiatives that are speeding the process.

  • Understand the benefits of digital forms, secure video conferencing and other tools for assessing applicants.

  • Explain the use of artificial intelligence on recruitment of cleared government employees.

  • Detail how other government agencies are successfully collaborating in assessments for clearances.
