Speaker and Presenter Information

Dr. Lisa Costa, the US Special Operations Command Chief Information Officer and Director, Command, Control, Communications, Cyber, and Information. She leads the development of USSOCOM's Enterprise Information and Technology strategy as well as executes the Command's C4I acquisition program. Dr. Costa is also responsible for operating and maintaining USSOCOM's global network providing support to more than 75,000 special operations staff across land, sea, air, space, and cyber. Dr. Costa will share “lessons learned” throughout her career and discuss the importance of big data and machine learning – and how we can use it to make better decisions and predict future opportunities.
