Join FBC for this unique two day expo at Hill Air Force Base. This will be the only Information Technology Expo held at Hill AFB in 2010.

The sponsor for this expo will be the newly formed Communications and Information Directorate, or 75th ABW/SC. The 7th ABW/SC will formally consolidate all communications and information functions and information technology functions into a single organization in support of the Team Hill mission.

At the 2009 expo, over 400 personnel visited this expo. Some of the job titles of these attendees include: Program Manager, IT Specialist, IT Supervisor, Computer Scientist, Electronics Engineer, Lead Mechanical Systems Engineer, Information Management Officer, Procurement Tech, Contract Negotiator, Software/Applications Developer, Systems Analyst and Network Administrator Avionics.

About Hill Air Force Base

Hill Air Force Base is an Air Force Materiel Command base located in northern Utah. Hill is home to many operational and support missions, with the Ogden Air Logistics Center (OO-ALC) serving as the host organization and the 75th Air Base Wing providing the support. The center provides worldwide engineering and logistics management for the F-16 Fighting Falcon, A-10 Thunderbolt II, Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile. The 75th ABW provides base operating support for the Ogden Air Logistics Center, the 388th and 419th Fighter Wings, 84th Combat Sustainment Wing, 309th Maintenance Wing, 508th Aerospace Sustainment Wing and 25 associate units.

Previously the 75th Communications Squadron under the 75th Mission Support Group provided all base-level communications services -- network, telephone, radio and cable. At the same time, the Information Technology Directorate functioned under the supervision of the Ogden Air Logistics Center and provided portfolio management, IT support to the center and support for the OO-ALC's unique software and applications. These two units' missions were combined as the 75th Communications Group (provisional), which assumed responsibility for those missions. The 75th CG included three squadrons: the 75th CS, the 775th Communications Squadron (provisional) and the 875th Communications Squadron (provisional). The final approved Organizational Change Request put forward by Air Force Materiel Command brings the 75th CS and OO-ALC/IT mission functions together into a directorate instead of a communications group due to the size of the organization and the organizational direction of AFMC. The new "Communications and Information Directorate" is made up of three divisions: SCO "Operations Division," SCS "Plans Division," and SCP "Special Mission Division." This change is being implemented at all of the AFMC Air Logistics Centers.
