Government Contract Compliance

This event qualifies for 4 CLPs

Government contracting is a highly regulated environment, with significant penalties for non-compliance with laws, regulations, and contract provisions.  The best way to remain in compliance is to implement a proactive Government Compliance Program.  This course, taught by an experienced government contracts attorney, will deal with:

  • The critical need for a formal Compliance Program

  • The three elements of an effective Compliance Program: 1) the contractor Code of Business Ethics and Conduct; 2) compliance and ethics training; and 3) internal controls

  • Requirements for voluntary reporting of violations

  • Conducting an internal compliance review

  • Interacting with government enforcement personnel

  • Encouraging the right kind of internal reporting
