Eielson Air Force Base

Building on the 2009 event, FBC will be hosting the 2nd Eielson AFB onsite expo. Industry vendors will have the opportunity to display their products and services to personnel on base that may otherwise be unattainable. This event is part of a 2 day series with the Elmendorf AFB/Fort Richardson expo.

2009 Attendees included personnel with titles such as: Commander, Deputy Commander, Director of Operations, IT Specialist, Communications Specialist, Communications Planner, Range Engineer, Section Chief, GIS Analyst, Network Administrator, Flight Chief, and Technician.

FBC will be working with the event host, 354th Communications Squadron, to promote the expo to everyone on base. The 354th Communications Squadron manages, operates, maintains and provides command and control communications and computer systems, navigational aids and information management services, supporting the 354th Fighter Wing's (and other tenant organizations’) combat and combat support missions.

About Eielson AFB

Eielson AFB, Alaska, is located about 25 miles southeast of Fairbanks in the interior of Alaska, and is the home to the 354th Fighter Wing, assigned to the 11th Air Force in the major command of the Pacific Air Forces. The 354th FW supports operations, maintenance, mission support and medical functions of the Pacific, and is host to 10 tenant units, to include Alaska's Air National Guard 168th Air Refueling Wing. Other tenant units also located at Eielson include Det. 460, Air Force Technical Applications Center, Arctic Survival School, Det. 1, 66th Training Squadron, Det. 632, Air Force Office of Special Investigations, Det. 1, 210th Rescue Squadron, and Det. 25, 372nd Training Squadron.
