Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) is a dynamic approach to fortifying the cybersecurity of government networks and systems. It provides agencies with the capabilities and tools to identify cybersecurity risks on an ongoing basis, to prioritize these risks based upon potential impacts, and to direct the cybersecurity workforce to mitigate the most pressing problems first.
