CMMC - A Small Business Forum for Compliance Event Sponsors



Please join the GovCon Council of the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce  to hear from a diverse panel of experts from the GovCon community as they discuss the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification. 

Panelists will provide:

  • Insight on shaping the CMMC requirements for RFPs
  • Answers to technical questions about CMMC requirements
  • Provide ideas on how to best prepare for an audit

Neil McDonnell, President & Founder, GovCon Chamber of Commerce
GovCon expert and small business trainer Neil McDonnell is a technology entrepreneur and communications specialist. He is dedicated to helping small businesses succeed in the federal marketplace  and brings over 20 years of practical experience as an actual small business owner. Neil published one of the first eBooks on CMMC in 2018 called "CMMC Made Easy."


Matthew Edwards, Vice President, Strategic Operations, Corvid Technologies
Matthew Edwards is the VP of Strategic Operations at Corvid Technologies, which provides technology-based solutions to the Department of Defense, primarily focused on high-fidelity computational  physics solutions for Modeling & Simulation. He has served in Advanced Engineering and Manufacturing operations and management roles for over 25 years at small, medium and large GovCon companies, and will provide oversight for Corvid's CMMC project.

Mike Jennings (Moderator), Owner, Business Engineering, Inc.
Mike Jennings is the President of BEI, an IT managed services provider headquartered in Reston. Mike has led BEI’s client compliance programs, including HIPAA, NIST 800-171 and now CMMC. He brings experience as a business owner and the leader of small and large technology companies as well as providing IT support services for many government contracting firms.
