AFCEA Europe Workshop

To protect the health and safety of attendees, this event has been rescheduled due to COVID-19 concerns.

New Date: 9/4/2020

This workshop is dedicated to the increasing importance of the space domain for operations and national welfare and its cyber security requirements. While traditional security for space operations mainly deals with physical threats in space, cyber security is rapidly gaining importance, as cyber attacks can impede operations physically as well as virtually in many ways. How can we maintain security over a long period of time under the harsh conditions of space? Does policy reflect the importance of cyber security sufficiently? What other operational security aspects need to be addressed with regard to increased use of space? The newest challenges, concepts and technologies will be discussed with representatives from NATO, EU, national governments, research institutions and industry during this workshop.

A schedule of the event will soon be available.
