Classifying Aircraft Part Technology Webinar

Aerospace consistently ranks among the top US export industries. American companies sell about $140 billion worth of commercial airliners, satellites, military aircraft, engines, components, and more to customers abroad. At the same time, aerospace is among the industries most affected by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR) export controls.

Nearly every exporter of aircraft components also exports related technology. Whether it’s a drawing to a potential vendor, a maintenance manual to a customer, technical assistance to a foreign person employee, or manufacturing instructions to an offshore subsidiary, technology takes many forms and is exported for many reasons.
