This educational Symposium will bring together senior DoD officials, military leaders, academia, and solution providers to explore emerging concepts and capabilities in necessary to support the use of power and energy for the Department of Defense. With DoD being the number one energy user in the world, the creation of efficient and resilient methods of supplying the Warfighter with power, both at home stations and across the world, is a critical mission
DSI’s 2020 DoD Energy and Power Summit will discuss the efforts the DoD and other organizations are putting into creating more robust and effective power capabilities across the full spectrum of military operations. As emerging technologies require greater energy generation the DoD will need to figure out how to provide this vital resource to warfighters in austere and distant environments.
This symposium will feature senior level discussions that emphasize the critical need for the rapid acquisition and development of power and energy systems across the DoD and government This program will allow for open and honest dialogue to solve difficult technical and strategic challenges energy generation and resilience presents the nation.
