This event qualifies for 24 CLPs

Students will focus their attention on the features required for the effective, efficient and safe operation of access and entry control points at compounds and controlled area perimeters. Items discussed include; calculating lane queuing, guard shack and guard manning requirements, barrier resistance and final denial barrier distances, lighting and emergency power requirements, visitor's control center needs, and large vehicle search area requirements. The workshop brings together the interdisciplinary dialogue between all of those involved in the design process.
