Speaker and Presenter Information

Maj. Gen. Kevin Vereen is the commanding general of U.S. Army Recruiting Command at Fort Knox, Kentucky, leading about 14,000 personnel in more than 1,400 locations around the world to recruit the next generation of Soldiers for the U.S. Army and Army Reserve.

 

MG Vereen has served 32 years in the Army and has been stationed all over the world, from North Carolina and Missouri to Korea and Iraq.

 

He began his career in field artillery but later became a military police officer, paving the way for many of his notable assignments – commandant of the Military Police Regiment, the Army’s provost marshal general, and commander of U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command. MG Vereen is a Fayetteville, North Carolina, native and a graduate of Campbell University.
