The value and integrity of trusted federal data is critical to performing agency missions, delivering government services, and maintaining the public good. Data is particularly important in the current pandemic environment as government agencies, scientists, and the public work to understand and respond to COVID-19 using data-focused approaches.

The need to protect, automate, and modernize government data is driven by a multitude of factors from rising cyber threats and ransomware intrusions to the broad adoption of telework to the explosion in the use of telehealth across the nation.

Join us to delve into technology’s impact on data and learn about:

  • The next generation great frontier in information technology
  • Enhancing public health through data
  • Cloud data management mandates and methods
  • The promise of milCloud 2.0 in supporting the mission
  • A report card on the anniversary of the Federal Data Strategy

This two-day virtual event will take an in-depth look at how agencies are accelerating innovation, intelligence and continuity of data through information technology.

Day 1: The State of Government IT Today

Government technology modernization is undergoing a renaissance, and, with that, the importance of data as a strategic asset has only grown. With this rapid increase in data has come the need for data control to drive business resiliency, cloud mobility, and to comply with governance mandates.

This special two-hour program will look at ways to transform government through data, explore how telehealth is protecting the privacy of individual’s data, and lessons learned from the pandemic.

Day 2: The Future of Cloud Management Data

Federal, state and local government agencies are grappling with an onslaught of data that continues to grow. And the future holds the promise of ever more data from smart cities, sensors, and even science-fiction favorites like neuro engagement or communicating through brain waves.
