Ensuring Compliance and Security for K-12 Home Internet Access
This event qualifies for 1 CPEs
School Districts are being asked to develop and implement a secure Home Internet Access for Students program. BOCES’ and RICs are looking for ways to make this program reachable, reliable, and sustainable while balancing limited internal resources and amidst restricted budget availability. In garnering support for the Home Internet Access for Students program, School Districts have begun looking to leverage passed legislation, as well as, regulatory and compliance requirements - as Capital Region BOCES / NERIC did with a recent RFP to procure Home Internet Access for Students with compliance support connecting to the Children’s Internet Protection Act (CIPA).
How will School Districts supply to each student, teacher, and administrator an end-to-end solution that will deliver secure, protected Internet Access?
During this webinar you will hear from speakers how to:
- Address critical needs to K12 Internet Security & Protection
- Discuss compliance requirements and standards
- Cost effective measures to assist K12 organizations
