Government Experience Awards



The events of 2020 rapidly accelerated the use of technology and digital expectations the public has for their state and local government agencies. These new expectations have pushed the need to modernize the experience of government to be accessible in new, and sometimes, contactless ways. But the events of 2020 were merely a warm-up act to the new pace of change that will continue through 2021 and beyond – and agencies will need to rapidly adapt and innovate to optimize their government experiences for an uncertain future.

 

The Government Experience Awards, a program of the Center for Digital Government, is designed to recognize these innovation and overall experience best practices of government agencies. Join us as we explore what’s around the corner and celebrate government agencies and their determination to push the boundaries to continually enhance the citizen and employee experience.
