Donald Harmon

Mr. Donald Harmon is from Fort Smith, AR. He enlisted in the Army May 1986 and retired Jun 2006. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisville in June 2006 and graduated with honors Cum Laude with an Occupational Training and Development with a concentration in training development.

 

Mr. Harmon spent 20 years as a Bradley mechanic and deployed several times to the Middle East and Bosnia-Herzegovina. His tours of duty were from Fort Hood, TX, Germany, Fort Benning, GA, Germany, Fort Knox, KY, Korea, and back to Fort Knox. After retirement he work at Advance Auto Parts in positions from driver to Assistant Manager within a year.

 

In 2008 he joined Civil Service and started working for Task Analysis branch with the Training Development and Combat Development – Experimentation with the Armor School at Fort Knox as an Instructional Systems Specialist. In 2009 he started working with the Army Reserve school house in Wisconsin. After ten years (2019) with the Army Reserves he took a job with the Navy Reserves as Director of Training and Learning Management.

 

Michael Ball

Michael joined Blackboard June of 2017. Michael serves as the FedRAMP Program Manager for Blackboard. He has 30+ years of experience in the IT field including 11+ years in IT Security in supporting the Federal Government, DoD, and commercial entities. His clients include key government agencies including NGA and OPM.

 

Chris Mayhew

IT Security Director- Governance, Risk & Compliance

Chris joined Blackboard in 2016 with the acquisition of Higher One’s Cashnet payments business, as a Senior Security Engineer responsible for maintaining Higher One’s Payment Card Industry (PCI) Level 1 Service Provider certification. Chris acted as Blackboard’s interim Chief Information Security Officer in 2018, helping to shape our long-term security strategy and now leads the Governance, Risk and Compliance team.
