Agile Acquisition: How One Team Hacked Bureaucracy And Succeeded

This event qualifies for 1 CLPs

USDA Farm Product and Conservation (FPAC) shaped its portfolio-wide IT service requirements into multiple areas named for trees.  Collectively, the new procurements shaped by each “tree area” addressed new and continuing IT service delivery needs previously covered by legacy contracts.  FPAC shaped their strategic procurements based on thorough market research using innovative tactics and well thought out vendor communications to create procurements that truly met the needs of the programs.  This webinar will showcase the ELM4 Procurement and discuss how the acquisition and program team removed bureaucracy and succeeded to award a multi-award large application development effort in a short amount of time to only the best qualified vendors.

Objectives:  The objectives of this webinar are to showcase a holistic view of an innovative procurement that worked from acquisition, program and vendor perspective.
