DESCRIPTION

Even though a year has gone by with the pandemic, Homeland Security and Law Enforcement agencies at every level - Federal, State, Local, and Tribal - continue to adapt their policies, processes and tools to execute their missions.  There still continues to be a wide range of threats, data and system intrusions, cyber related incidents, identity theft, and infrastructure vulnerabilities existing in this environment.  New operational challenges will require new infrastructure, new enhanced systems, tools, and monitoring, new policies, and well-trained staff to protect the nation, the responders, and the citizens.  

The ACT-IAC Homeland Security and Law Enforcement Forum bring together the security and law enforcement leaders from Government and industry to address the current threats, trends, and lessons learned not only during the continued pandemic but the post era of the pandemic.  The speakers and panels will address the challenges they faced and how they overcame them, the identification, monitoring and alerts on threats, the cybersecurity solutions and much more.

OBJECTIVES

• To achieve an increased understanding of the challenges that Law Enforcement and Homeland Security continue to face in our current environment
• To hear from the subject matter experts on the trends and lessons learned to date
• To increase awareness of active initiatives in place that are delivering high-trust support, available data, cybersecurity, and other solutions to support law enforcement and protect the homeland.
