Protecting BYO Mobile Devices within Zero Trust Frameworks

This event qualifies for 1 CPEs

ATARC Presents in Partnership with Zimperium

An open discussion with experts from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), the MITRE Corporation, and U.S. Department of Defense.

The distributed workforce has changed the face of cybersecurity, bringing enhanced access controls like Zero Trust to the forefront, enabling employees to be productive anywhere in the world… even on BYO mobile devices.

Recently, the National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE) at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) released a practice guide titled Mobile Device Security: Bring Your Own Device. This NIST guide brings forth what is needed by decision-makers to ensure that BYOD can be executed more securely.

Each new endpoint accessing internal networks is a risk if left unprotected. In order to securely enable employees to access the data they need on the devices they use the most, Zero Trust is critical, and mobile threat defense is a core component for that enablement.

If you are responsible for protecting BYO initiatives within Zero Trust frameworks, please join our webinar to hear:

  • Authors of the NIST practice guide discuss best practices for securing BYO mobile devices
  • Architects at MITRE on how to enhance protection using the MITRE ATT&CK Framework for Mobile
  • Government and industry experts on real-world use cases like the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) protecting unclassified mobile devices
