Timothy Gildea is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at NU Borders, a D.C./Boston-based data analytics and information technology firm – will discuss proliferation and trade compliance challenges and how the data analytics tools offered by NU Borders, namely the Business Intelligence for Trade Enforcement (BITE) platform, can assist multinational companies responding to challenges. NU Borders will demonstrate how the open-source, cloud-based analytics BITE platform can augment compliance and risk management systems, and uncover anomalies in large quantities of data.


Greg Favitta is the Director, U.S. Federal of CipherTrace, known as “the World’s First Blockchain Forensics Team” and based in Los Gatos, CA – will share how CipherTrace’s blockchain analytics and intelligence tools have developed along with the rapid growth in cryptocurrency types, users, and exchanges, and how those tools can support compliance monitoring, anti-money laundering, sanctions compliance, and financial investigations.


Jay P. Nash is the Founder and Principal of Nash Global Trade Services, a consulting firm specializing in U.S. and non-U.S. export compliance. Jay’s firm handles trade controls and compliance for countries in Asia Pacific, Central Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe. Jay works with businesses in various sectors to traverse and operationalize applicable regulations, including the EAR and ITAR, as well as non-U.S. export controls.
