  • Modernizing & Providing New Capabilities for Army’s Next Generation Combat Vehicle (NGVC) Portfolio to Keep Pace With the Evolving Threat Landscape
  • Managing the Acquisition & Sustainment of USMC Ground Systems Critical to the Fleet Marine Force
  • Transitioning Advanced Technologies to Military Ground Systems Through Industry Collaboration
  • Collaborating with Traditional and Emerging Allies to Ensure US Superiority in the Land Domain
  • Rapidly Delivering Capabilities That Reduce Soldier Exposure, Optimize Manpower, & Enable Sustained Mobility/Lethality
  • Advancing the Electrification Vision for Military Vehicle Systems
  • Leveraging Superior Engineering & Manufacturing Capabilities to Bring Transformative Solutions Such as to the Military Vehicle Market

At our Summit You Will Have the Ability to:

  • Gain Education & Insight: Walk away with knowledge gained from our senior level speakers on some of the complex challenges facing the military vehicle community.
  • Build Partnerships: The agenda is designed to allow for ample networking opportunities and the ability to discover the most up-to-date military ground system initiatives and technologies.
  • Influence: Help foster ideas! Share your own insight and knowledge during our interactive sessions. All attendees are encouraged to address our speaker faculty and each other with their questions, comments, or ideas.

Why You Should Attend this Year's Summit:

The 2022 Defense Funding Bill provides $2.2 billion above the total funding request for increased investments in ground vehicles, aircraft, ships, munitions, and other equipment. DSI’s Military Vehicle Systems Summit is a ‘Town-Hall’ style forum that will bring together experts from across U.S. Military Services, DoD, & Industry to discuss current initiatives & challenges toward utilizing emerging technologies to help modernize our Military’s combat and tactical vehicles, and vehicle systems. The Military Vehicle Systems Summit will detail current and future DoD efforts that are aimed at maximizing the power, survivability and lethality of US Military combat and tactical vehicles.

Senior leaders & Industry Partners at this event will brief delegates on various mission priorities toward enhancing the maneuverability, lethality, and efficiency of military vehicles. This Summit will focus on the integration of advanced capabilities onto ground platforms such as Autonomy/AI, Open Architecture Standards, as well as how the Services are working to modernize existing legacy platforms, such as Amphibious Assault Vehicles, M1A1 Abrams Tanks, & High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle, or Humvees, in order keep pace in an ever-changing battlespace. Attendees at this event will also have the chance to hear sessions on updates to the Next Generation Combat Vehicle, plans to further develop the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle, & other solutions for future military ground systems. Additionally, the Summit will examine the growing role of autonomous/semi-autonomous vehicles/unmanned vehicle systems in combat, and how Project Convergence ’20 showed this innovative capability will be key to increasing situational awareness & guiding the Warfighter’s ability to make quicker, more accurate decisions.

Finally, attendees will have a unique opportunity to hear a panel about how the military, in collaboration with industry, is looking into applying open standard electronics architectures for the next generation fleet of ground vehicles. They are looking to design cost-effective power technology concepts & develop EV infrastructures that ultimately have the potential to double ground force operational reach, increase performance, and reduce the Army’s logistics burden by half, if fully implemented. A panel of experts will discuss this, as well as the current drive to diversify fuel sources & move away from internal combustion engines, although considering alternate sources of battery charging for EVs vehicles will be a must.

DSI’s team specializes in the extensive research and development of our Summits' content and focus areas, and we will assemble the most respected minds in the engineering and acquisition communities, as well as the key policymakers across military and civilian offices. Our non-partisan approach allows us to reach across all services and organizations to bring together a truly holistic group of decision makers and solution providers.
