Joint Fires Summit



The 2022 Joint Fires Summit will focus on developing and fielding cutting edge fires and strike capabilities in order to meet the need for these advance capabilities. As potential enemy nations continue to invest and grow their own strike capabilities, the need to out gun and out range enemy systems are vital to maintain the status quo across the globe and continue US military dominance over all challengers.

  • DSI’s 2022 Joint Fires Summit will discuss the growing importance of standoff and strike weapons. The continued shift back to conventional warfare will require the DoD to increase the lethality and effectiveness of its mid to long range systems in order to counter and overcome Chinese and Russian advances. Improvements to these weapons will increase range and precision effects in contested environments against high-value land attack targets and allow the US freedom of operations and dominance across multiple domains
  • This summit will feature senior level discussions that emphasize the critical need for the rapid acquisition and development of fires and strike capabilities and systems across all services. This program will allow for open and honest dialogue to solve the nation’s most difficult technical and strategic challenges.
