Government Innovation Virginia

In an increasingly digital world, government leaders need tools and systems that allow them to move expediently and collaboratively. These leaders also need to ensure that their citizens can access their services, particularly in underserved communities. The fact each government agency often determines its own operational strategies, however, presents an enormous roadblock. Scattered, piecemeal technological implementation has resulted in agencies often being out of sync with one another.

This mismatch has long prevented agencies from operating at their full collaborative and innovative potential. Instead of scrambling to catch up – as government agencies across the world had to do during the COVID-19 pandemic – agencies now have a chance to think ahead and modernize to better prepare for future opportunities – and risks.

How can the public sector solve this multi-pronged problem to realize long term benefits and capture the full potential of contemporary innovations?

This is the question we will explore at Public Sector Network’s Government Innovation Virginia program. Join our prestigious speaking faculty as they address how people, processes, and technology all contribute to advancing government innovation throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. This one-day event will provide the ideal meeting place to learn, collaborate and discuss current trends and best practices.
