Leverage No-Code to Save Engineers & Empower Departments

This webinar is a part of the EDUCAUSE Industry & Campus Solutions series.

The University of Hawaii System, a large multi-campus institution, has been hyper-focused on a long-term commitment to digital transformation. Three years ago, the institution identified citizen development as one of the key tenets of this strategy. Not only did this initiative save engineers' time by empowering nontechnical users to build their own solutions, but it also dissuaded engineers from leaving the institution.

Every institution has its own specific set of needs that calls for its strongest engineers: you want your strongest engineers focused on that work while simultaneously offering an avenue for departments to address their automation needs. That’s where a no-code platform comes in. The University of Hawaii leverages Kuali Build as its primary, system-wide, no-code platform to support a broad range of forms and workflow functionality across a statewide system of 10 campuses, allowing engineers to focus on engaging, mission-critical tasks.

Outcomes

  • Understand how and why leveraging a no-code platform is crucial to the long-term success of higher education institutions
  • Learn to identify the risks and challenges of prioritizing your engineering team’s time and energy
  • Gain actionable tips to implement a no-code solution like Kuali Build on your campus
