Privacy and Ethics: Using Student Data in Learning Analytics

As part of Data Privacy Day, we are assembling a panel of experts in the use of student data for learning analytics to participate in a 60-minute webinar. The facilitated Q&A sessions will consist of questions curated from EDUCAUSE members and subject-matter experts, as well as time for audience questions. The panelists will address topics such as institutional stakeholders’ expectations about the privacy and use of student data for learning analytics, ethical implementation of learning analytics for higher education, and the practical use of learning analytics by institutions and in third-party tools.
