2012 DISA Mission Partner Conference

The 2012 DISA Mission Partner Conference will be held at the Tampa Convention Center in Tampa, Fla. May 7 through 10 and will include DISA's annual Forecast to Industry on May 9. This location - near U.S. Central Command, U.S. Special Operations Command, and U.S. Southern Command – provides an opportunity for increased participation among our mission partners in the region. 

This year's conference theme is “The Joint Enterprise: Delivered Through Partnership” and will bring together decision-makers and subject-matter experts from the military services, combatant commands, industry, and academia to share information and ideas that are of mutual interest and are critical to helping DoD achieve mission success. The conference also features a list of stellar speakers, all of whom are thought leaders in their respective areas.

This year, we have again incorporated DISA's annual Forecast to Industry Day. The Industry Day program on Wednesday, May 9, will feature a series of briefings by DISA senior staff, addressing specific tactical acquisition issues, requirements, and planned procurements for the 2013/2014 fiscal years. 

The conference enables you to interact with DISA senior leaders and other participants to hear about and discuss the successes, challenges, initiatives, and way ahead in the areas of enterprise infrastructure; command and control and information sharing; and operating and assuring the reliability, availability, diversity, capacity, and security of the enterprise. Our focused track sessions are not only opportunities to learn about what DISA is doing, but are also opportunities to provide feedback and to stimulate a continuing dialogue throughout the week and afterward.

Feedback from participants in previous DISA conferences attests to the value of the face-to-face interaction and discussion among government-to-government and government-to-industry professionals. With speakers on the cutting edge of information technology and telecommunications, more than 3,000 participants, and more than 200 industry exhibitors, the networking opportunities at the sessions, on the exhibit floor, and during the evening activities are endless.

This year, both DISA staff (government, military, and contractor support) and our mission partners will pay a registration fee of $275 for the entire conference. One-day passes may also be purchased for $125; these passes DO NOT include admission to evening events.

Industry partners and coalition partners will pay a $695 registration fee prior to or on April 1. After April 1, the registration fee for industry partners will be $795.

Industry partners may choose to purchase a one-day Forecast to Industry pass for $125. This pass is good for admission on May 9 only, and does not include the evening networking event.

Government and military attendees should register using a government credit card (GOVCC). Employees who do not have a GOVCC should use a personal credit card, and can request an advance for 80% of their expenses when submitting a travel order request through the Defense Travel System (DTS). Military and government attendee credit cards (both GOVCC and personal) will not be charged until April 20.

Contractors will be prompted to register using a credit card. The card will be charged at the time of registration.
