FCW Workshop: Digital Revolution

Forced by the pandemic and remote work requirements, agencies at all levels of governments made a pivot to digital services quickly in 2020. Now, many organizations are pausing to evaluate their progress so far and create a strategic plan to target new opportunities, evaluate customer expectations and experience, and address workforce training needed in the new environment.

As part of this digital re-evaluation, agencies will need to get buy-in from business leaders—not just technology executives—to define the business processes and the required outcomes before addressing the technology tools and funding needed. Executives suggest evaluating the progress made to date and setting sights on the next business processes to transform, not just speeding the process, but rethinking it.

The Digital Revolution workshop will also explore how to insure digital equity and access for all users and customers, as well as the next steps for applying artificial intelligence and robotic process automation.
