Beyond Self-Care: The CE-CERT model for Secondary Trauma and Burnout

This talk will discuss concepts and tools for addressing secondary trauma and burnout with an emphasis on the fallout from the COVID-19 pandemic.  A strong emphasis will be placed on the CE-CERT (Components for Enhancing Clinician Experience and Reducing Trauma) model and how this specific trainer applied the principles and tools with himself and his team.  Other related models (e.g., TARGET and CBT) will also be discussed, but the central discussion will focus on applying the CE-CERT concepts and tools.  The CE-CERT model is NOT simply self-care but is a model that goes “beyond self-care” to present a functional, evidence-informed set of concepts, steps and tools that can be applied across multiple disciplines for day to day STS and burnout.

The live webinar event is free to attend.
