Join presenter, Mike Perch, as he translates “contract vehicle and pricing” talk into plain language for the small business owner. As a small business owner himself, Mr. Perch forged a path to success creating a road map to win over $ 100 MM in federal contracts for his systems integration business. In 2006, he sold his business and began volunteering for SCORE where he has taught hundreds of small business owners how to maximize government contracting tools like SBA 8 (a) certification and GSA schedules.

Mr. Perch has been with Road Map Consulting (RMC) since 2008. RMC assists small and mid-sized businesses to position themselves for growth within the federal contracting market. He hosts a number of webinars and workshops on topics of specific interest to small and mid-market sized companies. 


Speaker and Presenter Information

Michael Perch is the Principal Consultant of Road Map Consulting, LLC with over twenty five years of financial; sales and marketing; and, operations management experience. During the early stages of his career in the early 1980’s, Mr. Perch worked as a Corporate Lending Officer with Bank of America, structuring and underwriting corporate loans to small businesses. Working with companies in the middle market/high technology sector heightened his awareness of the unique challenges faced by small businesses. Mr. Perch assisted scores of companies in obtaining short-term and long-term sources of financing – from start-up companies to mature well established firms. From Bank of America, Mr. Perch went on to start his own small business winning over $ 100 MM in federal contracts before selling the company in 2006. Thereafter, he volunteered with SCORE and, in 2008, established Road Map Consulting, LLC. Mr. Perch is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Technology Specialist (CTS), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Expert version 3, and a Class A General Contractor in the state of Virginia.
