Federal Contracting Forum Breakfast Featuring Jodie Paustian, IRS

IRS procurement runs in the neighborhood of $1.7B annually. Two-thirds of this goes to IT and telecomm, but IRS buys many other products and services as well.

Many purchases are made off of GSA schedule contract, as well as the TIPSS and TCV GWACs managed by IRS. Over 2,500 companies had a piece of the action in 2008.

IRS achieves about a 30% small business award rate. Check out IRS's upcoming requirements through the Treasury opportunities forecast at http://www.ustreas.gov/offices/management/dcfo/osdbu/marketing-publications/forecast.shtml.

Get an overview of IRS' contracting requirements, the structure of the organization, the status of TIPSS-4 and other programs, the agency's small business objectives, and pertinent, targetted proposal submission advice.

Learn how to position your firm for success. Ask your questions regarding upcoming opportunities, teaming opportunities and the ins and outs of Internal Revenue Services contracts.
