2012 VA SCAN Conference
This event qualifies for 12 CPEs
The VA SCAN Conference is an annual IT security conference that brings together over 150 information security professionals from all over the Commonwealth of Virginia and surrounding states. This year's conference is being held at the Virginia Military Institute's new Center for Leadership and Ethics, on October 9-10, 2012, in Lexington, VA.
The keynote speaker for the 2012 VA SCAN Conference is Stacy Halota, the head of Information Security and Privacy for The Washington Post. Her presentation is entitled "BYOD and Cloud -- Getting Your House in Order".
Also, we will once again be offering a low-cost one-day SANS course! This year's offering is SEC 580.1: Metasploit Kung Fu for Enterprise Pen Testing. Our agreement with SANS allows us to offer this course for only $75 (more than 90% off the regular price) to the first 55 attendees who sign up, so act fast!
