T3 - Teaming, Training and Transitioning

On November 16, 2012 at The Mason Inn in Fairfax, VA, the Dulles Chamber's GovCONnections and Veteran & Military Support committees will host the first T3 Expo. Designed to connect government contractors and commercial business employers and other advisory resources with veterans seeking jobs, T3 Expo exhibitors and programs will help veterans learn more about today’s job opportunities, what skills are required, how to impress employers during the interview process, crafting the perfect resume, and what additional training is available to further their job searches in the civilian workplace.

The open format of T3 also is ideal for enabling open teaming discussions between small- to mid-sized government contractors and large primes.

Immediately following the breakfast keynote, the T3 Expo will open. Veterans can attend focused programs about training and workforce transitioning. Exhibitors will have company booths for all to visit. The Department of Veteran Affairs also will have a booth available to answer questions about Veterans benefits and programs for Veterans and their families. 

T3 Expo attendees will have the opportunity to hear a series of 20-minute presentations from the Exhibitors regarding their programs and circulate their resume to the human resource contacts of firms that may be hiring.
