A seminar showcasing and featuring the contributions of logistics intermodal technology transfer, visioning and problem-solving optimizing logistics and supply chain effectiveness in times of crisis and disasters hosted by the Center for Advanced Logistics Management, Albany State University

Theme: Optimizing Logistics and Supply Chain Effectiveness in Times of Crisis and Disasters

Big Idea: This conference focuses on tools and methods logistics and supply chain professionals can use to optimize effectiveness in times of crisis and disasters.   Advanced logistics and supply chain practitioners recognize and manage risk and build resilience while they optimize organizational performance in times of crisis and disasters.

Purpose: This symposium brings industry, government, and academia together to examine how crisis situations are creating opportunities for optimizing logistics and supply chains, and the challenges of securing optimal solutions for logistics and supply chain participants. Four tracks will cover logistics in times of crisis topics in areas such as operating issues; contingency and risk management; small business capabilities; and models.

Who Should Attend? Supply chain management professionals and practitioners from profit and non- profit organizations, Military Logisticians, and Academicians.
