GIDE Industry Insights Forum

The Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO) and the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU), in partnership with the Office of Under Secretary of Defense Research and Engineering’s (OUSD R&E) Joint Fires Network (JFN), will host the GIDE Industry Insights Forum on July 16, 2024, at the Hyatt Regency in Reston, VA. The Forum will focus on the Global Information Dominance Experiment (GIDE).

The purpose of GIDE is to accelerate the development and fielding of Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control (CJADC2) capabilities and concepts for the Department of Defense in order to deliver information to warfighters and senior leaders at the speed of relevance and spur faster decision-making than our adversaries. Since its inception, 9 iterations of experiments have been conducted by the GIDE composed of leaders from the Joint Staff, the Combatant Commands, all service branches and international allies and partners. Future iterations of experiments are planned for 2024 and beyond.

The Joint Fires Network will support multi-domain operations through a multi-level security Persistent Targeting Common Operational Picture and integrated mission capabilities. In partnership with the Joint Fires Network, GIDE will serve as an avenue to explore JFN nominees. Nominees that are successful during GIDE, can be designated as JFN candidates for evaluation of inclusion in the JFN Baseline.
