Dr. Shaila Rana
Dr. Shaila Rana is a cybersecurity professor with expertise in AI, cybersecurity, and VR/AR. She's authored two books and founded CyberSecure, a top consulting firm, as well as co-founded the ACT Research Institute. With a Ph.D. in Information Technology (cybersecurity specialization) and an M.S. from Boston University (Computer Information Systems, cybersecurity specialization), Dr. Rana bridges academia and industry. She's a Pluralsight author, vice chair of an IEEE Standards Association for zero trust cybersecurity for health technology, tools, services, and devices. She is a regular speaker at global conferences. Passionate about protecting individuals and communities from cyber threats, her research focuses on fortifying digital landscapes.
